Evangelism is one of the major works of the Church of Christ. This is always pertained to spreading the Gospel. We hava a full time Preacher/ Minister Bro. Marlon Locaberte and our students from the Philippine Bible College working together with other local brethren to spread the Gospel by conducting devotionals, bible study, and visiting sick brethren.

Local brethren like Bro. Teofilo Alcayde and Bro. Leo Avila are conducting bible studies and working individually to harvest souls and make them come back to Christ. This work of the Church is always taken to consideration by our local congregation leaders. Teaching people to be baptized is not just the key for salvation,we are required to be faithful until the end to be saved.

That is why the leaders of the congregation has to implement scheduled follow up bible study after baptism, to follow up teachings and what the newly members should do and teaching them also to continue to have fellowship with other members. The growth of the knowledege about the word of God is never ending it should be progressive to maintain active converts, continuing to the work of God not just merely becoming a member through baptism.

BAPTISM ON FEBRUARY 24 Our new sisters in Christ, Corazon Lantiwen from San Nicolas, Pangasinan and Jovelyn Balanay from Tuguegarao, Cagayan, were added to the Lord's Church last Wednesday afternoon. The brethren assisting them were Teofilo Alcayde and Rizaldy Ferrer as Bible study teachers, Marlon Locaberte and Brent Solis adminstering their immersion.

We welcome Bro. Mark Dimacje! He was baptized by Bro. Jayman Pague also a PBC student. The new born child of God is presently working in Nintetsu a subcontractor company for Texas Instruments Philippines Inc. He has been studying a series of seven lessons since December of last year conducted by Bro. Tommy Mapalo. Joining and assisting him in the Bible study every Sunday afternoon are the Irving sisters, Valerie and Dawn.

Buried with Christ last Tuesday , In the BCOC baptistry on January 19, 2010, 24 year-old Sis. Arlene Abestano was immersed by Bro. Roniel Bernardo, a Pbc student. Bro. Marlon Locaberte taught the former member of INC(1914) since December of last year on the plan of salvation. Let us grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ! / A NEW CHRISTIAN 20 year old PBCian was immeresed last Saturday(02/06/10) afternoon in the BCOC baptistry / DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS A 28 year old lady from Sablan, Benguet will make her confession this Sunday morning. Her name is Ezperanza Acuna who is willing to be baptized after English worship. Bro. Marlon Locaberte had taught her the Gospel plan of salvation. Praise the Lord!
