Romans 14:19 states, "Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another."

Encouragement is very essential for the growth fo the church. Here in Baguio Church of Christ, we make it sure that whenever there are local gatherings everyone would be encouraged, made feel better, having a more positive attitude. Only the use of verbal communication when combined with spiritual words and an attitude of love can accomplish this task.

Knowledge alone does not accomplish this task. Knowledge separated from love does not edify, it merely puffs up ( 1 Corinthians 8:1). However, biblical edification is the loving impartation of spiritual instruction designed to build up the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of the student to the motivation of accomplishing the work of the kingdom.

So, majority of the time, we make it sure that there are a lot of programs and spiritual gatherings to attend to be edified and build up with each other.

HOME DEVOTIONAL AT KITMA ROAD Through the invitatino of Sis. Marilou Pascua last Sunday afternoon, Bro. Teofilo Alcayde gave a message on "Trustinh the Lord". Also with the visitation group were brethren Cristino Sacayanan, Joel Awingan, Rizaldy Ferrer, Delia Locaberte, Elvie Sacayanan, Erlinda Alcayde, Cion Sombero, Lorna Leonen, Beth Cahulogan, Rowena Villarante,and Jean Inocencio.

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS SEMINAR/ WORKSHOP Attending on February 13, 2010 are Sisters Erlinda Alcayde, Elvira Sacayanan and Encarnacion Sombero with PBC students, Jason Nilo Reyuso and Annabelle Solis. A one year curriculum for children was lectured at the PBTS (Phil. Baptist Theological Seminary), Baguio City.

82-YEAR OLD PASSED AWAY Bro. Carlito Fajardan's mother, Sis. Rufina died on February 05, 2010. Our prayers for the bereaved ones in Asingan, Pangasinan.
